Fall Beauty - Trend

(Image: yearwithoutrain)

Fall is here and I know most of you are disappointed because when its Fall there is no sun!! Well I wouldn’t have to worry since I am in Dubai it is like almost sunny all year round but we should be expecting a change of weather soon. Well, well, well... it is time to switch from your shirts and it’s to your tights, sweaters, and coats cz it is getting colder in well most of the globe. I think the Fall fashion is pretty obvious but the question is what about the makeup trends? Well  if you ask me I am so happy because it is all about bold, dark, reddish plumy lips and big beautiful dark eyes. It is all about the dramatic look! Not to mention the nails as well which are dark and lovely.  Check out the Fall makeup trends and collections:

The Louboutin Manicure - Review

(Image: missrichfamous)

Hey guys, sorry it has been a while since I posted anything it's because I was gone away for holidays and now that summer is almost over I am back in the business =D!!

We all love fashion and trends but who said you can't have fashion on your finger tips? The ultimate and super mother of all trends is back! The Louboutin Manicure!! Well I wouldn't say it is new because it has been out few years ago but hey guess what? it's back again!

With the ever growing population of the "reds" a lot of women have been striving for this nail trend.

The trend mimics the louboutin shoes by painting your nails black and the back bright red. My intake on this is that it is a bit dramatic and super cute!! I also find it very classy. If I ever see a girl with it I would truly appreciate the trend because it does take some effort to get it done. I think I will try this myself later even though I know I will create a mess but it is totally worth it. Maybe black would be too much for me so I will try to paint my nails nude instead and have the bottom part bright red I think that would even look sexier!

Royal Nails - Review

(Image: fashion trend alert)

Right after the exciting royal wedding, here comes Katy Perry with her unusual sense of style. Royal Nails! Now that’s new and cute however I won’t be drooling all over that in my opinion it's nice to see not to have but hey it looks nice on her. What do you guys think?

Nail Shapes - Review

What is your favorite nail shape? Well mine has always been square. I have never tried round, oval, pointy or anything of such. However, my cousin tempted me to try and go for an oval shape because she thinks that they look more feminine. Somehow if I chose the oval shape I don’t think that a French manicure would look as good as it does on square. Well I don’t know but nail shape hopping is not my thing but at the same time I’m just so ahhh tempted. I’m going to the nail bar today and have someone help me with that. There is a funny named shape called squoval lol I hear this is in style for summer, hmm well let’s see.

Nail Station Paris - Review

Ok so I bought two new colors from nail station and thought of showing it to you guy. Do you guys have any idea of how hard it is to chose colors at nail station!!?? Because there are plenty to choose from and they are all gorgeous so I always pick a handful and ask the lady there to apply the colors to my nails so I can pick the ones I like. I literally spend 20 minutes there picking colors. Anyhow here they are and hope you guys like them. By the way, there is a new color called Forever Dubai which is lovely neon pink! You guys should totally take a bite out of it! mwah xx.

Just a reminder, they cost Dhs45 each.

Sally Hansen Salon Effects - Review

 (Image: ldn fashion)

I think this is a fair alternative to Minx if you want a less pricey DIY kinda product. I actually think it is really creative from Sally Hansen to jump in the bandwagon right after Minx started making lots of cash. They came up with Salon Effect nail polish strips that can be applied anywhere and anytime. It is rather easy once you get the hang of it and I think you would appreciate it more because it is something that you put your time and effort into. While Minx costs around $50 to $70 (USD), Sally Hansen Salon Nail Effect costs around $10 (USD). If you have the money to spare and want things to be done for you then Minx is all yours but if you want something which is less costly and easy to do at home then this product is the best!

It is made out of real nail polish and you do not need any dry time which is a plus! It lasts up to 10 days and it comes in 24 styles including solid colors, neon’s, prints, and patterns. It can be easily removed by nail polish removers.

Find out more about this product here http://www.sallyhansen.com/products/nails/nail-color/salon-effects-real-nail-polish-strips

And here is an easy tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNVW0fyaxPU

I will defiantly take a bite out of this product!

Nail Station Paris - Review

(Image: mostyk studio)

With so many brands and colors to choose from it is so confusing to pick anything now a days! Every brand claims that they are the best and they have the best range but sometimes it is all just gibberish to be honest. You must go out there and experiment for yourself. Just like I did, but I really hate confusing myself that’s why if I like a certain brand I tend to stick to it as much as I can.

I have been using Nail Station for the past year or so and I cannot tell you how much I really appreciate this brand. It is like made to suite everyone. With so many colors and tones they are all s beautiful I love going to Debenhams and pick a handful of colors and try them all on inside the tiny manicure/pedicure room and then pick the ones that suit me best. I have recently bought seven new colors and decided to apply each of them on my nails to show you how they look. You can visit their website here: http://www.nailstation.com/.
Where to buy? You can find them at Debenhams or Town Center - Jumeirah.
Priced at Dhs45.

Excuse my unmanicured nails. Ps: 6th picture is my sisters =P
