Christian Laduree - Review

 (Image: parisianevents)

I love how Christian Louboutin always comes up with cool ideas to keep us interested in that black/red combo. Not only the Louboutin manicure but now its collaboration with Laduree (one of my fav treats) and came up with the a mix of food/fashion delights. It comes in 3 different boxes designed with Louboutin shoes. Take your pick or try them all. Gotta love those Louboutin macroons!! These yummies have been out since september, so ladies... take a bite off of that!

Chanel Les Trompe L'Oeil - Review

(Image: vexinthecity)

Since Eid is today and I am not a fan of henna, I still tried my luck with some salons to draw a very simple modern design but daaaaamn were they all fully booked! So instead, I had an idea of trying the Chanel temporary tattoos since I have seen them on the s/s runway of 2010. They really grabed my eyes and I thought they were cute (if used wisely of course). So I made a little research and found a woman who sells them on http://www.souq.com/ and I am guessing http://www.ebay.com/ might also have them. So the price was not bad actually there are many sheets and each sheet contains several designs.

I bought each sheet for around DHS 35. I have bought 3 sheets so a total of 105. Quiet reasonable if you ask me. Anyhow, I have not applied them yet because I am saving them for tomorrow since I am traveling and wanna show them off lol.

Here is a how-to video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_ywRnowjK0

However I have posted some beautiful pictures I found from the internet.. Enjoy.....

Another thing I like about this tattoo is that it has been worn by many celebs and you can go from a simple classy look to an extreme crazy look!!

The Louboutin Manicure - Review

(Image: missrichfamous)

Hey guys, sorry it has been a while since I posted anything it's because I was gone away for holidays and now that summer is almost over I am back in the business =D!!

We all love fashion and trends but who said you can't have fashion on your finger tips? The ultimate and super mother of all trends is back! The Louboutin Manicure!! Well I wouldn't say it is new because it has been out few years ago but hey guess what? it's back again!

With the ever growing population of the "reds" a lot of women have been striving for this nail trend.

The trend mimics the louboutin shoes by painting your nails black and the back bright red. My intake on this is that it is a bit dramatic and super cute!! I also find it very classy. If I ever see a girl with it I would truly appreciate the trend because it does take some effort to get it done. I think I will try this myself later even though I know I will create a mess but it is totally worth it. Maybe black would be too much for me so I will try to paint my nails nude instead and have the bottom part bright red I think that would even look sexier!

Dark circles - Review

(Image: idiva)

Blame it on your genes or lifestyle, dark circles under the eyes are one of the most common problems people face! Now I don't usually get them but if I do it is because of lack of sleep!! But I thought of sharing this with you guys anyways because I know how common this problem is. Anyhow, have you ever heard about how raw potatoes can help reduce dark circles around the eyes? Well, I learned that few days ago from a friend so I rushed to the internet and did some research. It is an ancient beauty tip! placing raw sliced potatoes under your eyes for around 10 minutes before bed and hopefully you will notice the difference! I am a potato lover. I love it in my sandwich, a side with my burger, and in salads! but I never thought of placing it under my eyes lol. I will try this trick myself because apparently a lot of people said it works and it does help reduce the dark circles due to the bleaching agents in potatoes. Hopefully this tip helps and let me know what you guys think.

These two amazing sisters (Mimi and Leyla) have established their own company that is all about hair extensions! It is real remy human hair and can be colored, styled, heated, and so on... It comes in 10 colors in which you can pick from and the nice thing is that each hair color is multi-toned which makes it look natural and can easily blend with your natural hair color. Dark Chocolate - Review

(Image: dark chocolate life)

A lot of people I know always pick dark chocolate on milk chocolate. I personally prefer the milk chocolate over the dark because it tastes better and yes I KNOW it contains more sugar and oil and the dark one doesn’t but I can’t help the taste :(. I have always known that dark is actually better than milk chocolate but never actually know exactly why! So I did a little research and found out some amazing facts on dark chocolate. It is actually healthy! Here are some healthy dark chocolate benefits:

Lowers blood pressure
Lowers cholesterol
Acts as an antioxidant
It stimulates endorphin which gives a feeling of pleasure
It has less added sugar

Basically it has less fat and it is good for your heart!! I was amazed to read articles about the benefits of dark chocolate never knew it was this healthy. I guess from now on we gotta eat dark chocolate more often ladies!! I found a lot of brands that offer dark chocolate which may taste better than others like Hershey’s, Godiva, and Lindt. And btw there is this place in Emirates Mall called Hotel Chocolate they have some good chocolaty stuff you guys should take a bite out of that place! Enjoy xx.

(Image: dotspress)

I am a fan of LV and I was so happy to see that they have chosen Jolie to be their new face for the summer campaign 2011. Angie is one of my fashion and beauty icons and I think it was such a great idea for LV to collaborate with her. The Images were shot in Cambodia which is a very very dear country to Angie! I think that the pic is really awesome and she looks so natural and pretty as always =). Love the look of confidence on her what do you guys think?
